Lorenza Longhi born 1991 in Lecco, Italy. She is an artist based in-between Lausanne and Milan. After studying visual arts at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan with Alberto Garutti, she is currently participating in the Visual Art Master Program at Ecole cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL). Since 2014 together with other fellows artists and curators she co-founded and runs Armada, an artist run-space in Milan. Armada is an independent organism mutable and eclectic. Its exhibition program is the result of the thinking of a multitude of heads (www.armadamilano.com). In 2017 she had her solo show at Fanta Spazio in Milan and at Wishing Well, an exhibition space curated by the artist Melanie Matranga. Other recent collective exhibitions include Tutto Subito, Possibilmente Due Volte (No Conformism, Prilly), A Flag Show Curated By 7 International Offspaces (Zabriskie Point, Geneva) Idioletta, a performance, poetry based exhibition Curated by Mattia Capelletti and Costanza Candeloro (Spazio O’, Milan), Where wild owers grow (Armada, Milan) and Vorrei non vederti oggi per vederti tutti gli altri giorni (Il Mercatino, Milano) which she also co- curated.
