Raura Oblitas Jordan (1979) works and lives in Lima, Peru. She studied Sculpture at the Faculty of Arts of the Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) between 1998 and 2004. Raura Oblitas is BA in Visual Arts with mention in Sculpture at PUCP, and now she´s currently finishing an MA in History of Art and Curatorial Studies at PUCP. She´s artist represented by 80 mts Livia Benavides Gallery. Oblitas´s main solo shows are The Texts (between modernization and abandonment 2010, The Texts (classroom, history, death) 2012, Soldiers of Love 2016 and To eat the Phlegm 2016. She has participated in FLORA residency (Bogotá, Colombia) 2014 and Sculpture Space residency (NY, USA) 2015.
