Zebulon Zang is a visual artist and filmmaker, currently pursuing an MFA at the University of California San Diego. His work engages the impact of photographic technologies through installation based works, public art projects and film. Zang’s work has received support from the British Columbia Arts Council, Emily Carr University, UnittPitt Gallery and 221A gallery in Vancouver. Most recently he received a grant for the creation of a narrative feature film addressing the challenges that marginal communities face in their attempt to find employment, which will be completed in the Spring of 2018. He is the founder of The Mallairdville Cultural Appreciation Society, an experimental exhibition space supporting underrepresented artists in British Columbia. This space also serves as the headquarters for Single Sentence Publishing, a public art project engaging artists from around world who work with text.
